New Old Shuttles

Well I tried my hand at decorating shuttles today using material instead of paper.  The paw print shuttle I used crackle paint, and the yellow one I used polyurethane.  I have Mod Podge too but wanted to try polyurethane instead.

  1. Your shuttles are so cute! I've never heard of crackle paint. Something new for me to learn I guess!

  3. They are both really nice, you did an excellent job, I would not have thought about crackle paint, but I think the yellow one is my favorite one! I dearly love the colors, reminds me of a sunset, or being out in the desert in the evening :)

  4. Both shuttles are bling-tastic creations! the crackle paint is intriguing. Have you handled it yet" Do the "crackles" help or hinder (or have not effect on) movement?

  5. Thank you Isdihara. The crackle effect shuttle is dry and handles nicely. It does not help or hinder the shuttle and has no effect on the movement.

  6. It never ceases to amaze me how shuttles take on a whole new look with bits of fabric or paper, and different 'finishing' products. These look great!
