Well that was not bad. I finished my 1st sock finally. It took long enough, that's because I was working on making my Christmas cards in between. Now that they are done I can move on to decide what I giving everyone for Christmas. I only have one present purchased and it is coming from Canada. I can't say what it is because it will spoil the surprise for the recipient. I can't believe the year is coming to an end. I have accomplished a lot this year and taught myself how to knit socks.
I did ask FOX for some assistance when it came to the instep and the way the pattern was worded. Thank you FOX for being their when I needed you.
Since it is freezing outside and the wind is blowing like crazy, I think I will knit for the rest of the day, since I got all my housework done early this morning.
that is a gorgeous sock! I have bought books, and have patterns coming out my ears, and watched you tube until my eyes bugged out, but I have not yet attempted my first sock, I think I finally understand exactly what to do, lol and will attempt socks "some time" in the future, hahaha... but for now, I will envy and be proud both of your progress and keep fingers crossed for your second sock :D
