Christmas tree by Maus

I finished my christmas tree by Maus. I do have 2 mistakes in it at the end. Like John says all trees in real life are not perfect. +

+Working with the beads was the easy part. The hard part was the last round with all those picots. I am going to work it again in a different green. I used size 20 flora thread, color # 85.

  1. It's almost addictive, isn't it? I made the same mistake in my first try...when you get to the end of one side, not only do you make a ring to join to the previous row, you then have to make a split ring to turn. I think it's ring #44 or #45 - can't remember without looking. By the time you find out, it's way too late to go back and fix.

  2. It sure is Gina. I am working on my second tree in Omega 30. #44 is the Split ring and you are right, I did not see my mistake until I was at the end of the last round.

  3. Love the thread you've used - makes a very realistic tree. Must try that tree too.
