History of the Clover Red and Blue shuttles

Here is the history of the clover red and blue tatting shuttles.  Thanks for sending the email for me Georgia Seitz.

 

Thank you for your response. We contacted headquarters and was told the tatting shuttles were introduced in 1964 and then discontinued in 1990. In 1990, a new tatting shuttle was introduced in a tortoise color to give it a higher quality look and to make it more aesthetically pleasing. The gold labels were replaced because it could be easily removed and now we have the Clover name engraved so that it cannot be duplicated.
