Happy New Year

Hi Everyone,

I am sorry I have not been around much but my life is becoming really busy. I had a stupendous 2008 and looking forward to a fabulous 2009.

My husband just purchased the house and property next door for me as a christmas present. I am now a proud owner of another brick house on a 1/2 acre of land. I have been doing a lot of clean up in the yard and taking down old wire fencing so my tatting has taken a back seat for awhile. I plan on planting a garden in part of the 1/2 acre where the previous owner had one. I have an awesome fig tree and 3 pear trees we are going to cut down due to the ant problem.

We have a lot of work to do to get the house ready for renting, all the hardwood floors have to be refinished and the kitchen has to be redone along with painting and replacing bathroom fixtures.

For now, all I can do is write down my tatting designs. I was planning on writing a book but that has to go on a back burner since I now have 2 houses and an acre of land between them to care for.

I will be posting my tatting patterns on line in the future. I also changed to a new internet service and need to decide where I want to establish my website.

Well bye for now. I have a busy month, its my birthday, anniversary and husband's birthday all in the same month.
