Tatting and Paper combined into one awesome grouping
Well when my day started today I never figured I would be adding 3 different mediums into one greeting card. Well I did it paper punching, quilling and tatting all rolled into one greeting card.
Thank you both for your lovely comments. I agree adding tatting with other techniques or mediums gives you a whole different perspective on your tatting. It makes the tatting stand out more. If you like this card, you most definitely will like my next one.
Steph if you can do tatting you can easily do quilling. I learned it in one afternoon. Of course I did not buy the biginners book I started with the advanced book like I do everything else...LO
This may just be the prettiest card I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I think tatting is shown best when it's offset by another creative medium.

Beautiful keepsake for the recipient! I would like to see tatting combined with other mediums more often.

I agree with you Gina, sometimes we just get so caught up in one technique or medium we cannot see the possibilities beyond that.
ReplyDeleteThat is why I like learning new techniques so I can draw from them to create the unusual.
Hi there! Your card is very pretty, as well as the rest of your projects. I find quilling fascinating, but I don't think I'd have the patience.
