Here is the new bird feeder I bought for the blue birds and smaller birds. The worms cannot fall to the ground like the dish feeder. It took 4 months for the blue birds to get acclimated to using this type of feeder. Now that they are use to it, I can't wait for them to bring the babies here to feed.
I have never seen a bluebird. I guess I should look into getting the right kind of bird feeders and houses. Do you get many hummingbirds?
ReplyDeleteDiane, yes I get humming birds. I have not put out their food yet. I make a solution of 3 cups of boiled water and 1 cup of sugar.
ReplyDeleteFor the blue birds, use a dish feeder in the begining until you get blue birds and put some dried meal worms in the dish. I buy mine at Lowes.
